Tuesday, April 23, 2013: Live testimony. Jodi Arias’ lawyer Kurt Nurmi revealed just how low a defense lawyer will sink to obfuscate the truth.
Monday, April 22, 2013: The delay is caused by Jodi Arias’ lawyers asking the judge to allow them to present a surrebuttal case. They are also asking the judge to allow a charge of heat of passion manslaughter to be considered by the jury. Jodi would get about 4 years if the jury falls for that ridiculous charge.
Friday, April 19, 2013: Hearing today but no cameras in the court room. For several minutes earlier today I don’t think Jean Casarez realized she was being broadcast live as she unloaded snacks from her bag, primped for the camera and did mic tests.
Thursday, April 18, 2013: Live testimony has finished for today. Prosecution expert witness Dr. Janeen DeMarte continued her superb job for the State of Arizona. Josi Arias defense lawyer Jennifer Willmott failed to shake or discredit Dr. DeMarte’s testimony in any way.
Wednesday, April 17, 2013: Court ended early today at 5:45 EST. No reason was given but Jodi Arias looked very pale. Perhaps she was sick. Testimony will resume tomorrow morning. Live testimony. Watch Jennifer Willmott’s bald spot spread as she fails to rattle prosecution witness Janeen DeMarte.
Tuesday, April 16, 2013: Live testimony. Juan Martinez and excellent prosecution witness Janeen DeMarte destroys 36 days of the defense’s case in a couple of hours. See comments below about why Prosecutor Juan Martinez might call a Walmart employee to testify in his rebuttal.
Monday, April 15, 2013: Live testimony. Mostly defense lawyer Kurt Nurmi wasting everyone’s time with a “weird science” and Voodoo evidence hearing and a couple of baseless motions against Prosecutor Juan Martinez. Judge Sherry Stephens denied Nurmi’s motions.
Friday, April 12, 2013: Live testimony has finished for today.
Thursday, April 11, 2013: Live testimony. Now Jury questions for Jodi Arias apologist and Travis Alexander reputation destroyer Alyce Violette.
Wednesday, April 10, 2013: Live testimony. All the Defense’s horses and all the Defense’s men couldn’t put Alyce LaViolette back together again. There’s not much left of Alyce LaViolette’s credibility or integrity as Prosecutor Juan Martinez shreds her sham assessment of Jodi Arias on the witness stand.
Tuesday, April 9, 2013: Lunch recess. Live testimony will resume very soon. Prosecutor Juan Martinez skillfully gets defense expert witness Alyce LaViolette to admit her sham assessment of Jodi Arias was based on lies. LaViolette has been exposed as a hired gun who will lie on the stand for $300/hour. This witness is folding under Juan Martinez’s brilliant cross examination.
Monday, April 8, 2013: Live testimony.
Friday, April 5, 2013: No court on Fridays. Testimony will resume Monday.
Thursday, April 4, 2013: Live testimony as the materteral defense witness Alyce LaViolette continues to run cover for Jodi Arias’ staggering number of lies. Prosecutor Juan Martinez begins his scathing cross examination of LaViolette by brilliantly demonstrating how this disgraced defense witness defended Snow White as a battered woman.
Wednesday, April 3, 2013: Court has finished early because witness Alyce LaViolette started sweating and told the judge she was sick. Perhaps the pressure of destroying one’s reputation and career for $350/hr by repeating and lending credence to a killer’s lies is getting to LaViolette.
Tuesday, April 2, 2013: Earlier Jody Arias’ family and Travis Alexander’s family were called into the judges chambers. Judge Sherry Stephens threw a juror off the case and denied a defense bid for a mistrial.
Wednesday, March 27, 2013: The judge has cancelled court today. No reason given yet but trial testimony will return tomorrow.
Wednesday, March 20, 2013: Around 7pm EST someone in the gallery actually threw up. Instead of just cleaning it up and continuing, the judge decided to end court proceedings until tomorrow. What a bizarre trial! Next up will be more than 100 jury questions for Jodi Arias’ ‘expert’ witness Dr. Richard Samuels, the kooky psychologist who was earlier destroyed by brilliant prosecutor Juan Martinez.
