Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor
Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor will take place August 26, 2017 at the T-Mobil Arena in Las Vegas Nevada. The most remarkable thing about this boxing match is that McGregor was able to pull this off. It’s a testament to his confidence and promotional genius.
Conor McGregor has zero professional boxing experience while Floyd Mayweather Jr. is 49-0 and widely regarded as the best p4p boxer today. Floyd could earn $150 Million with Conor (and the UFC?) receiving $100 Million.
This is simply astonishing when one considers that Conor McGregor has arguably just one victory in his last three UFC fights. He defeated Eddie Alvarez but was crushed and finished by Nate Diaz in their first fight then the recipient of a razor thin majority decision in the rematch. One judge scored it a draw while many UFC fans scored it for Nate Diaz.
After that he convinced the powers that be and millions of fans that he would next fight the best boxer in the world, Floyd Mayweather. Thanks to a nod from Money Mayweather, Conor McGregor will now do exactly that.
You have to respect a man who can earn $100 Million using only his wit and bravado. His entertaining bullshit got him this fight because the Irish UFC phenom does not know how to box.

World Champion boxer and superb boxing broadcast analyst Paulie Malignaggi explains via Behind The Gloves:
Kudos to Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather for making $250 Million out of nothing but trash talk, hype and a gullible public but I’ll wait until September 16, 2017 when Gennady Golovkin and Canelo Alvarez meet in Las Vegas for a real boxing match.
