In his first response, Charlie Carrel, a prominent English professional poker player and online crusher, said he had seen messages and other evidence, but cautioned that accusations still needed scrutiny. He said C Ye’s account had stayed consistent and the available chats and circumstances did not support Britney’s explanation for withholding the money.

Carrel’s Investigation Continued

Charlie reviewed statements, translated messages, and accounts from people involved. He said Britney’s explanations changed and contradicted one another, while C Ye’s version remained consistent, and he challenged how C Ye’s apology messages had been characterized. He also scrutinized a claim that casino staff reviewed footage and confirmed C Ye left with chips: in a call Charlie shared, Venetian security said its records showed no report about C Ye, and footage from the date would no longer be available. This directly contradicts Britney’s (and others’) claims. Charlie acknowledged some witness accounts remained uncertain, but said he found no discrepancy in C Ye’s account. His conclusion was clear: C Ye was truthful, and Britney lied.
