Todd Witteles’ lawyer dropped him quickly after learning the truth. Recently on Poker Fraud Alert there appeared excerpts from a letter I received from Todd Witteles’ lawyer last year.
Cyber stalker Witteles misrepresented what really occurred. Below I reveal my reply to Todd Witteles’ lawyer that Todd failed to include in his misleading post.
My response sent 5/28/14 (see below).
Once Todd Witteles’ lawyer received my letter and learned the shocking truth he dropped the matter entirely and kicked Todd Witteles to the curb.

Dear John:
I tried calling you several times but no one ever answered. All I heard was a truncated guttural sound followed by an answering machine. There was no way to tell if I was calling a law office or the local pizza parlor. I looked you up on Lawyers dot com but there was nothing there about you except a name. Fortunately I found an email address on your letterhead.
The letter you sent is without any merit.
You mentioned giving me 10 days to remove my articles about your client Todd Witteles in exchange for his removal of the defamatory, harassing and libelous material he has plastered all over the internet about me. My articles are truthful and therefore protected speech. Your client’s cyber harassment, defamation and libel are not. You and your client are engaging in extortion.
John, let’s not drag this out. I want you to file the lawsuit tomorrow if that’s in your client’s best interest. However if I receive any more communication from your office beyond that this matter is dropped, I will sue your client and sue you personally for malicious prosecution.
While no one enjoys a long court case that wastes time, effort and money I have thought about this and am excited for the opportunity to depose your client.
He has violated the law and acted in bad faith on many occasions that I resent. I am very interested in learning how he will answer my questions under oath. I will depose others as well.
I am enthusiastic to do thorough discovery on this matter. I look forward to receiving all the information about Todd Witteles, applicable forum members of Poker Fraud Alert, Mr. Witteles’ theft and subsequent publishing of my information including Comcast internet and cable data and much more that will help me seek justice in this case.
Your client has admitted he withheld information in another FBI investigation. He has also operated an unlicensed, untaxed gambling operation through his website, Poker Fraud Alert. For example, in the past few days he has collected bets totaling more than $7,200.
The more I think about how your client has defamed, harassed and cyber stalked me and so many others I am thrilled to bring these facts and truths to light through the courts.
The evidence against your client is indisputable and overwhelming. Ask him about the time he stalked a critic by covertly casing his home with video camera in hand. Your client later published that intrusive video on YouTube.
I will seek your client’s phone and computer records. Do you know he harassed me with phone calls that appeared to be from my brother when I looked at the caller ID? He would laugh and snicker but refused to identify himself. I recognized his voice and his phone records will prove he made those calls.
Your client uses dupe accounts on his forum where he corresponds with himself as he publishes my personal, private information along with vile lies that I am a senile, life-long scam artist. I will subpoena all his records including those from Poker Fraud Alert that will reveal the truth about his despicable and illegal actions.
Your client has offered to pay $2000 to anyone willing to do a “job” on me. Yes I have contacted federal and local authorities about his threats.
Read his forum. He directly threatens to contact my closest contacts including my family so he can send them defamatory, libelous material about me. He even put a time clock deadline for when the harassment would begin. He admitted illegally obtaining my family and friends contact list from my email.
Your client has done this to many other victims. From reading your letter it’s clear your client has lied to you. He will continue to lie to you. My deposition of your client along with discovery, evidence and witness testimony will make this clear.
I am genuinely thrilled to put a stop to your client’s illegal actions as well as yours.
